Everyone I’ve spoked to about this tells me it was not a normal experience.
Okay, so I smoke on occasion and have gotten high enough times to know what being high is. My tolerance is relatively low because I don’t smoke too often.
I went over to a friends house and took a bong rip. One bong rip is usually enough to get me high but this one was different. I felt pins and needles all over my body, minor brain zaps, at one point I was just quiet and the only noises I focused on was the tiking of the two clocks in the house and him ssshing his dog to sleep – it felt like hypnosis. My perception of the things around me was skewed, the coffee table was closer, I felt like I was shrinking, and the house felt like it was swaying. I got really paranoid too – but I am not sure if that was because this experience was completely unexpected as a “high” or if it was the effect of whatever weed that was. I told him what I was experiencing and he told me that the experience was called psychedelia, and even said “damn you’ve never been actually high before?” – which confuses me because I certainly have been high (from bong rips, edibles, a pen) but never have experienced these effects.
I drove myself home because I got super paranoid and the drive was felt really long.
What the fuck? Everyone who smokes regularly that I’ve explained this too said that was not a normal experience. Was the weed laced? Why did he act like this was normal? I didn’t even know weed got cut…?!
Has anyone had similar experiences?!
